From Articling Student to Staff Lawyer

Earlier this week, Wendy Couet signed the rolls, an exciting milestone in her legal career! Wendy was one of Legal Aid Saskatchewan’s 2023-2024 articling students. Today, we are thrilled to have her join our Melfort Area Office as a Staff Lawyer!
“I've joked that ‘it takes a village to raise a lawyer,’ but I truly see this accomplishment as a shared one,” Wendy says. “I'm grateful for the support from my family, friends, and colleagues. I’m excited to join the Melfort Area Office as a permanent staff lawyer and continue advocating for those who need it most.”
