Legal Aid Saskatchewan Named Top Employer for Second Year in a Row

Saskatchewan's Top Employers for 2025 have been named, and Legal Aid Saskatchewan made the list for the second year in a row!
“I am so proud of what we have accomplished as a team at LAS,” says Jayne Mallin, LAS CEO. “A great workplace culture requires everyone to contribute and it is clear that we have an exceptional team who understands that a positive workplace culture benefits everyone from staff to clients to personal relationships!”
Saskatchewan’s Top Employers is a special designation that recognizes employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work. “Saskatchewan’s Top Employer competition sets out the best practices organizations can implement for fostering a positive, engaged, and inclusive workplace,” says Olga Sadikova, LAS Director of People and Culture. “Having Legal Aid Saskatchewan recognized as Saskatchewan’s Top Employer for two consecutive years is more than just an accolade – it’s a testament to the organization’s commitment to having the best practices and being the employer of choice.”

Employers are evaluated using these criteria: workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. “Thank you to our People and Culture department for continually pushing us to evolve and do better for our team," says Mallin. “They are an incredible champion for our staff and their strategic approach to improving culture over the past four years has clearly been successful with this latest acknowledgement.”
Reasons why LAS is a Top Employer
In addition to the pride that comes with this accolade is a boost to the purpose-driven team at LAS. “This recognition not only attracts top talent, but also reinforces trust and loyalty among our staff in helping Legal Aid Saskatchewan achieve its vision of inclusive, responsive and equitable justice in Saskatchewan,” says Sadikova.
“Kudos to all, and here’s to making LAS even better in the upcoming year!” says Mallin.
